Juice it up!



Banyak kelebihan minum wheatgrass juice nie sebenarnya... Walaupun tak sedap dan kalau tak bernasib baik boleh membuatkan anda cirit birit sebelum sempat anda sampai di rumah sebab jus nie hanya mengambil masa beberapa minit untuk dihadamkan. Heheh! Dengan hanya minum 1 shot wheatgrass juice (lebih kurang 20ml), kita akan dapat vitamin, mineral, dan enzyme yang badan kita perlukan.

Wheatgrass nie jugak boleh jadi macam cleanser yang bertindak balas secara spontan terhadap toksin dan mukus dalam perut. Selain mengandungi kalsium, potassium, dan magnesium yang tinggi, kandungan klorofil yang memang tinggi giler dalam jus nie boleh bawak keluar toksin dari dalam sel.

Disebabkan jus nie sangat efektif dan highly potent, kita hanya boleh minum 1 shot je (patutlah dia bagi sikit je semalam!) untuk permulaan.   • Use of wheatgrass is said to help cleanse the blood, organs & gastrointestinal tract, and is also recommended as a way to stimulate metabolism & normalizes the thyroid gland, which may be helpful in correcting obesity & indigestion.
  • As a nutritional supplement, wheatgrass contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, amino acids & enzymes. It has an abundance of alkaline minerals, which is said to help reduce over-acidity in the blood.Wheatgrass juice contains almost the same amount of Vitamin C as citrus fruits & actually more than such vegetables as tomatoes or potatoes. It is as high in Vitamin A as dark green lettuce or carrots, & is additionally a good source of the B vitamins. Wheatgrass contains Vitamin E.


  • The mineral content of wheatgrass includes calcium, iron, sodium, potassium, magnesium & a variety of trace minerals such as selenium & zinc. Dried wheatgrass juice is said to have as much calcium as milk. Wheatgrass juice contains about half as much iron as spinach, as much potassium as citrus fruits & as much magnesium as broccoli.Some 17 amino acids can be found in wheatgrass, including essential amino acids (those that the body can synthesize from food protein) as lysine, leucine, tryptophane, phenylalanine, threonine, valine & isoleucine. Some of the other amino acids found in wheatgrass are arginine, glutamic acid, histidine, serine & tyrosine.


  • Chlorophyll content of wheatgrass provides some protection from carcinogens. This protection is said to come from chlorophylls ability to strengthen cells, detoxify the liver & bloodstream and chemically neutralize pollutants. Dr. Arthur Robinson, the director of the Oregon Institute of Science & Medicine, who performed a research project on wheatgrass in 1978 at the Linus Pauling Institute, found that wheatgrass & other “live foods” decreased the incidence & severityof cancer lesions in mice by about 75 percent.In 1978, Dr. Chiu-Nan Lai of the University of Texas reported in Nutritional and Cancer that wheatgrass juice had an anti-mutagenic effect, & also that it showed an anti-neoplastic ability.


  • In another study, performed at the Arthur Testing laboratory by Dr. Thelma Arthur, the consumption of wheatgrass juice was shown to detoxify the blood & strengthen the immune system.
  • Wheatgrass has also been shown to have a beneficial external effect as well. Wheatgrass and/or chlorophyll ointment has been used to successfully treat such disorders as skin ulcers, impetigo & itching.
  • Science has proven that chlorophyll arrests growth & development of unfriendly bacteria.
  • Chlorophyll (wheatgrass) rebuilds the bloodstream. Studies of various animals have shown chlorophyll to be free of any toxic reaction. The red cell count was returned to normal within 4 to 5 days of the administration of chlorophyll, even in those animals which were known to be extremely anemic or low in red cell count.

  • Wheatgrass juice can dissolve the scars that are formed on the lungs from breathing gasses. The effect of carbon monoxide is minimized since chlorophyll increases hemoglobin production.
